New Motion’s Steps to Keep Clients, Staff and Our Community Safe
Like you, all of us at New Motion Physical Therapy are continuously monitoring developments regarding the spread and impact of Covid-19 virus. The health and safety of our valued clients and employees remains our top priority. That’s why we are informing you of the precautions we implemented earlier this week to help ensure everyone’s safety.
New Motion Physical Therapy has canceled all classes and independent workouts. We are working toward moving classes online to help keep people sane while they are limited in their ability to participate in their normal activities.
Our therapists are reviewing their schedules to identify those patients with the greatest need for continued therapy during this challenging time and who’s treatment would be more appropriate to delay to limit their risk and overall number of contacts within the community. We will be in communication with patients about their treatment and work with them make appropriate decisions.
We will continue to clean vigilantly by frequently wiping down common areas, equipment, rest rooms, and treatment rooms with approved cleaning solutions.
Staff will stay away from New Motion if they are presenting symptoms of illness or fever or have been in close contact with someone who has these symptoms.
We expect clients to cancel their appointment(s) if they have present illness and should be cleared by a physician to return to community involvement if they have had flu-like.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate through this situation together.
We will continue following the general guidelines outlined below and ask that you do the same.
Wash your hands often with soap and hot water for at least 20 seconds.
If soap and hot water are not readily available, use alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
Stay home when you are sick
Stay home if you consider yourself being high risk
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw it away and wash your hands
We will get through this together as a community, stay strong!
Sincerely,
New Motion Physical Therapy
